"This office has made multiple errors with my rental dwelling policy. They listed my property, which is in North Pole, under the wrong city (Fairbanks). They also failed to note that it’s a duplex, showing only one unit instead of both. Even after I reported a full roof replacement in July 2023, they still show the roof as 1995 for two renewals in a row. To make matters worse, I found out I’ve been paying for both a homeowner’s policy and a rental dwelling policy on the same property. Anyone with basic insurance knowledge should know that’s duplicate coverage and completely unnecessary. Yet the staff here said they “don’t know” if I can just have the rental dwelling. Do they really not have the most basic understanding of how insurance works? When I pointed all this out, I was told the employee who set up my policy has been here 13 years and “always does a great job.” If this is their idea of a great job, the standard here must be very low. After waiting a long time in their office, I still left without a resolution—just told I’d get a call. Insurance is about accuracy, not excuses. If they can’t get the fundamentals right, how can anyone trust them with a claim? Customers here need to double-check every detail themselves. Update: While the office eventually corrected the errors, it’s not acceptable to only take cases seriously after a bad review. The bad experience had already happened."
